Samples: | New fresh copper bot: (1/100)+(1/1)+0+0+(2*0)+(2*0)+(0*100) = 1.01 Immediately upgrades to platinum:
(1/1)+(1/1)+0+0+(2*0)+(2*0)+(0*1) = 2.00 Fully maxed platinum bot, 32 months old, with best ratings, 3 shared, 2 hidden shared, user count of 1,346 sns:
(33/1)+(1346/33)+3+100+(2*2)+(2*100)+(1000*1) narrows down to: 33 + 40.79 + 3 + 100 + 4 + 200 + 1000 = 1,380.79 Ages 7 months, no changes, no added user count: (40/1)+(1346/40)+3+100+(2*2)+(2*100)+(1000*1) Narrows down to: 40 + 33.65 + 3 + 100 + 4 + 200 + 1000 = 1,380.65 |
Notes: |
- Notice that with this formula, we are affecting a bot's rating by it's activity, as shown with the platinum bot that has aged, but the user count has not increased.
- Also notice, that it helps considerably to have a good full bot.
- We have considered as many scenarios as possible.
- In the formula, a maxed platinum bot has the same influence as a maxed copper bot... (s*R)... for the maxed platinum this equals 1000, and for maxed copper, this equals 1,000 as well.
- This way, a platinum bot does not have an unfair advantage in this respect.
- However, it must be assumed that a platinum bot that has been around for a long time would have greater "value" at Lots-A-Bots(TM)... (A/R).
- Another advantage of a platinum bot owner, would be access to certain features, allowing it to keep the sns rolling in and the knowledge to write the best modules, which all affect the overall bot rating.
- Yes, the chat logs do have an effect on rating but you have to look at the long term effect.
- If somebody allows the chat log to fill up to the max, the rating does go up, and yes, this could be unfair, but now the botmaster is stuck because they cannot do anything to improve their bot without clearing the log.
- If they cannot improve their bot, this means less people are going to talk to it... less screen names less rating. No new modules... less rating.
